Well, I am a peculiar person, stemming from the North Carolina Mountains where my photography venture originated over 20 years ago in Asheville. I apprenticed in 2006 and then began my business during the market crash in 2008, and spanning to Central Texas in 2014 for life changing reasons that go beyond a website bio. I'll say my lived experienced, that *almost* caused me to put down my camera has been a hard fought battle which attests to the grace of God how much I value this craft not only for the enjoyment of it, also because I can say with confidence that I have been gifted to see light and life through a lens, create art in this way, but most of all I want to use it as a tool to serve others well. My background spans years of human and pet portraiture across a broad spectrum of emotions, lighting and experiences. Today, I bring that perspective to a more intentional collection of documentary and fine-art portraits, including pet portraiture, live-action personal branding, and generational legacy work.
